Story Line

Year: 2018. Social justice has become overwhelming. Groups march streets in violent protest. Rumors of climate change has divided the population. Videos of violence have become a source of entertainment on social media platforms. Diseases are spreading throughout the United States.

Year: 2019 Forces of militarized police occupy the streets. Video surveillance on every corner. Staged government coups. Civilians offer threats of revoloution. Hate organizations form. Death tolls rise from violence and disease.

New Year: 2020 Country divides. The South declares independence. The North installs a new order of rule and law. The North makes plans to invade the southern territories for seizure. The South prepares to meet at the northern boarder with force. State of emergencies are declared. Both sides realize, Social media and news outlets have become corrupt. Forcing civilians into predetermined thought patterns issued by sex appeal, humor and violence. Social media has become a platform to force anger in hate, dividing the world. Control their media, control the population. As the North gets word of the possible resistance from The South, a curfew is set to order. All civilians will have weapons seized and must forfeit any and all communications for inspection for acts of treason. The North is promising a peaceful government for the people, by the people. With new age medicines and a perfect economy, but must deal with all acts of treason before the installation of a new democracy.

There are promising signs of peace. However, living under an occupied state makes the old territories question the motives of the government. The South has become the pioneer in medicine, wealth and innovations. Promises a free world without tyranny but must come with unity and growth. The South has received word that the North may declare a civil war. This makes a new law that all able bodied men and women to gather resources and weapons and join their military. Any refusals will be deemed an act of treason. This creates alarm amongst the population as their promise free land has now been given a price. The media is spreading what are known as rumors of both sides having access to create MOAB's for a "fresh start" and will be met with hostility and angst.

Will a new found territory become a desolate land? Will media be controlled? Will there be anyone left to write the history of this civil war? You must ask yourself: Who are you? What side do you choose? What risks will you take for peace?
